    A well-established client in King William's Town seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing the store team, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates and operational staff through regular meetings, one-on-one coaching, and performance appraisals.

    • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing concerns and queries efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    • Set, monitor, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies, promotions, and product knowledge.

    • Manage inventory levels, ordering, storage, and display to optimize stock availability.

    • Maintain high visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer shopping experience and maximize product sales.

    • Oversee all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily tasks.

    • E nsure compliance with health and safety regulations, store policies, and procedures.

    • Prepare reports on sales, stock, and employee performance, as well as manage store scheduling and payroll.

    • Conduct training on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and company policies to equip staff members for success.

    • Implement store-based marketing initiatives, including in-store promotions, displays, and partnerships, to engage with local communities and businesses.

    Key Skills and Qualifications

    • Proven experience in a retail management position, preferably in the home or building materials industry.

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with the ability to lead by example and inspire others to meet objectives.

    • A strong sales background, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive store revenue.

    • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and building long-term relationships with customers.

    • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.

    • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively.

    • Comfortable using retail software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools.
