RCL FOODS is seeking an
Artisan
Electrician to join our
Milling Site. The role will be based in
Pretoria West and report to the
Maintenance Foreman.

RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to maintain the site's machines in order to obtain their optimum efficiencies and ensure that all planned maintenance work is done according to the schedules.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintaining all electrical equipment in the PTA Mill.
Basic field/ PLC fault finding.
Maintaining, programming, commissioning, and fault find on VSD both AC & DC.
Maintaining airconditioners and Chillers.
Maintenance on Alternators.
Maintenance of Electrical backup systems e.g., UPS, Diesel generators.
Maintenance of LV AC/DC motors.
Installation of new equipment.
Doing fault finding on electrical equipment.
Doing maintenance and construction on MV Systems.
Transformer maintenance.
Ensure all routine inspections are carried out as per schedule.
Power Generation and distribution systems.
Programming and fault finding on Protection.

Minimum Requirements:

Trade Test certificate with N
N4 and above would be an advantage.
Proof of the successful completion of a formal Institutionalised Training Programme is essential
Flour Milling/ Milling work experience of 5 years and above will be an advantage.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Computer Literacy
Experience in MV switching and Protection systems up to 33KV
Wireman's Licence (advantageous)
