    Senior Actuarial Specialist

    The Role is Based in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Monthly Reporting: Produce and Analyze Financial Results (IFRS, VNB, and APE) on a Monthly Basis.
    • Analyze Key Drivers of Financial Results and Deviations from Forecasts. Assist with Preparation of MI Packs.
    • Business Planning / Forecasting: Collate Financial Business Plans Produced In-Country to Build a Consolidated Picture.
    • Produce Forecasts or Estimates of Future Financial Impacts as Required.
    • Continuous Improvements: Enhancements of Consolidation Processes.
    • Lifeline of Business Engagements: Produce Monthly Reports for the Head of Lifeline of Businesses, Participate in Life Assurance Forums.
    • Projects: Support the Delivery of Project Objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science.
    • Nearly Qualified or Qualified Actuary with 4 Years Experience.
    • Strong Technical Skills and Experience in a Valuations Role.
