Location:
New Castle, KwaZulu Natal.

A leading supply chain and logistics group is seeking to employ a
Junior - Supply Chain Analyst to be based at a client located in Newcastle.

Position Overview:

_ The Junior Supply Chain Analyst__ will form part of the continuous improvement team based at the Client in Newcastle, Kwa Zulu-Natal. _

To provide the client with the _
_relevant reports, information and decision support__ to assist in _
_operations and costsaving initiatives__ and _
_identify, test and implement costsaving initiatives__ (route planning and transportrelated)._

Key Performance Areas:

Reporting on
actual savings leveraged from implemented initiatives.

Reparation of
logisticsrelated proposals for business development purposes and negotiation.

Data analysis and simulation modelling

Projects - business case development, solution design, planning and execution.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

-
Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering /
BCom Logistics.
-
- 3 years' experience in
Supply Chain and
Project Management with a logistics company.
-
Bulk commodities exposure and
Operational labour optimization experience required
:

-
Rail exposure and shipping understanding are advantageous.
-
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL experience is beneficial.
