Responsibilities:


  • Plan, direct and coordinate the storage and distribution of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within all required warehouses nationally and globally
  • Ensure that customer supply needs are met efficiently
  • Ensure financial efficiency related to logistics
  • Manage logistics and warehouse staff
  • Manage customer and warehouse delivery & receiving bookings
  • Schedule daily delivery routes
  • Inventory management from receiving and delivering in collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure stock levels are maintained at all distributors
  • Process warehouse stock transfers
  • Assist and work alongside the production manager to evaluate and adapt the required resources for completion of all orders
  • Always maintain a professional and prompt communication pattern with clients with regards to logistics information required, dispatch and shipping of all local orders
  • Ensure dispatch documents are completed according to the unique specifications of each client
  • Backup with GRN processing
  • Maintain CHEP reconciliations
  • Strategic planning of logistics and warehousing
  • Drive financial objectives of the company to assist with profitability and growth

Requirements:


  • A matric certificate is essential
  • At least five years' working experience
  • Strong management skills
  • Proven track record of logistics management
  • Lean manufacturing highly advantageous
  • Experience in imports and exports
  • Knowledge of Incoterms
  • Strong understanding of international shipping standards and clearance
  • Computer literacy with strong Excel skills is essential

Salary:
R24 000,00 - R28 000,00 per month
