    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. Key requirements include:

    • Fluency in Afrikaans
    • Holding a valid driver's license
    • Mechanical or Mechantronic Engineer qualifications

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Effective communication with customers through verbal and written correspondence
    • Liaising with customers in a professional and courteous manner
    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers, driving business growth
    • Identifying new prospects and initiating contact
    • Achieving ambitious sales targets, generating new pump sales
    • Developing the field service division, securing active service contracts
    • Tracking previous services completed and encouraging repeat business
    • Generating repair and replacement sales for workshops
    • Pursuing new pump sales opportunities, including spares, pumps, and systems
    • On-site problem solving, installing and repairing vacuum pumps and systems
    • Travel may be required within Africa; a valid passport is essential
    • Collaborating with the sales team to develop effective strategies
    • Providing timely reports (weekly and monthly) and offering feedback to management
    • Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including technicians, engineers, maintenance managers, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end-users
