The IT Market Lead, based in South Africa (Cape Town), coordinates all IT business solutions, services and projects in Africa and Middle East (Afme) markets, ensuring alignment with IT EMEA strategy and business value.

The role aim at developing a strong partnership with the business ranging from roadmap elaboration, budget follow up, project management and dealing with daily business proximity tasks.

In addition, the role also comprises de dimension of being the EMEA region SAP Finance (FI/CO) expert providing IT expertise, guidance and project assistance.

Collaboration with MH Core IT, Solution Managers and Architects teams is a key facet for the role in order to provide the most effective IT environment that will bring all the expected business capabilities to meet company's future growth plans.

The IT Market Lead, based in South Africa (Cape Town), is responsible for coordinating all IT business solutions, services and projects in Africa and Middle East (Afme), ensuring alignment with MH EMEA IT strategy and business value.

The role is responsible for coordinating local IT resources and contractors in the entities in scope for projects, support and maintenance activities, liaising with the technical IT team and ensuring compliance with central and regional guidelines.

The role will also assist as the local relay to the EMEA Front Office team (Sales & marketing & Consumers team) when implementing solutions.

• Oversee all IT activity in local entities. Responsible for coordinating local IT contractors and consultants (jointly with the technical IT team on infrastructure, support and cybersecurity
• Responsible for managing the annual local IT operating budget and cost expenditures following IT EMEA guidelines. Ensures budgetary reporting and followup.
• Responsible for alignment on solutions and roadmaps with IT strategy in EMEA & MH IS&T, capitalizing as much as possible on central or regional solutions to reduce complexity and costs
• Participates in managing the performance of the IS
• Coordinates purchasing and vendor strategy for all local IT providers. Responsible for local vendor relationships, performance and SLA, billing review and approval, and contract negotiations
• Maintain continuous communication and alignment with EMEA business and IT teams regarding local initiatives and collaborate where necessary.
• Ensures all MH IS&T Global Standards & Policies are in place and up to date (validations, budgets...)

• Liaise with FI/CO Platform team (CSM, Solutions Managers and Architect) to support key technology decision, finding ecosystem synergies and influence future trends
• Provide IT and business with effective advice/expertise in relation to the functional area of expertise, conducting regional projects and sharing best practices as needed

• Management of IT projects in the market / functional domain owning and optimizing scope, plan, budget and quality. Team coordination with business stakeholders, vendors and contractors, and IT teams.
• Responsible of plan and supervision of key project phases including business case, requirements, implementation, testing, training, roll out and adoption
• Maintains good communication at all levels

• Degree in IT (Information Management / Systems / Technology / Computer Science)

• Minimum 7 years related Business Solution management experience required.
• Proven experience in SAP FI/CO in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge in Supply SAP MM/SD/EDI highly desirable
