Description

We have an opportunity for 2 new Junior/mid-level social media managers to join the team in our Somerset West offices.

You will be tasked with managing +-5 different social accounts and their online presence. You will be further supported by a creative director and digital assistant.

Our clients include; a pet store, a welfare, a sports betting company, an e-commerce and retail brand, a butchery chain, a software company, a clothing brand and a few others.

A diverse bunch of clients - all super cool to work with.

Main Duties Include:

Conceptualise, plan, and present monthly digital marketing strategies for each client (with the creative director)
Create a strong social media plan and schedule (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Design social media posts and copy (designed images, editing, photography, etc.)
Form partnerships with affiliated/complementary brands and influencers
Plan, run, and oversee paid advertising on all social media networks.
Stay informed about trends in the social media, marketing, technology, and advertising industry

Necessities:

Social media platform experience (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
Design experience/know how (Canva and/or Adobe suite etc.)
Excellent communication (written and verbal) including admin and project management skills
Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
Selfstarter, driven, and highly motivated
High energy levels and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Clear criminal record (nonnegotiable)
A Matric certificate with fair grades
