Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the daytoday operations of the medical office, ensuring its smooth functioning
  • Handle all aspects of medical billing including claims processing, insurance verification and reimbursement
  • Perform remittance processing, reconciliation, and credit control within the practice
  • Liaise with medical professionals, staff/patients to ensure excellent communication and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, coordinating ordering and restocking as needed
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to promote ongoing education and professional development

Requirements:


  • Minimum two years previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar healthcare administrative role
  • Proficiency in medical billing, insurance procedures and electronic health records systems is essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical professionals, and staff
  • Proficiency in using office and medical billing software
