VACANCY
CREDITORS CLERK (MATERNITY LEAVE COVER)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation of accurate complete accounts payable recons
- Loading payments and beneficiaries onto ABSA banking system
- Capturing of invoices for suppliers
- Ensure all recons are done in line with deadline
- Resolving of reconciling items with different business units
- Build solid relationships across all business units
- Foreign AP payments and clearing thereof
- Handling and resolution of general AP queries (advance payments, GRN, etc.)
- Ensure all relevant legislation is complied with
- Clearing of payments off the bank and investigating variances
- BBBEE certificate management
- Adhoc requirements
Qualifications and experience:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Finance or other relevant qualification
- ERP systems experience
- JDE is an added advantage
- High computer literacy skills
- MS Office suite
- 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable Department
