VACANCY

CREDITORS CLERK (MATERNITY LEAVE COVER)

Duties and responsibilities:


  • Preparation of accurate complete accounts payable recons
  • Loading payments and beneficiaries onto ABSA banking system
  • Capturing of invoices for suppliers
  • Ensure all recons are done in line with deadline
  • Resolving of reconciling items with different business units
  • Build solid relationships across all business units
  • Foreign AP payments and clearing thereof
  • Handling and resolution of general AP queries (advance payments, GRN, etc.)
  • Ensure all relevant legislation is complied with
  • Clearing of payments off the bank and investigating variances
  • BBBEE certificate management
  • Adhoc requirements

Qualifications and experience:


  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Tertiary Qualification
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance or other relevant qualification
  • ERP systems experience
  • JDE is an added advantage
  • High computer literacy skills
  • MS Office suite
  • 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable Department
