Requirements:

Relevant B degree in Commerce/Economics/Finance/Marketing and Sales

Five to eight years of experience
Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategy within a stadium/arena/convention centre or similar business

At least four years of experience in presenting business cases to a Board and leadership team

Experience within business development of an organisation and utilisation of commercial space

Experience in functioning at a global level/proven global networking experience and project management

Experience in revenue growth strategy implementation, portfolio management client relationship management and project management

Experience in Commerce/Economics/Finance/Sales would be an advantage

Professional Drivers Permit (D): Code B.

Key Performance Areas

Create, plan, and implement the commercial strategy and project activities

Manage and monitor Suppliers and Tenants, Tenders, BIDS, Commercial Relationship, and Team (staff)

Manage the Stadium budget according to the applicable policies and procedures

Ensure administrative processes adhere to in order to maintain the integrity of information, records, and administrative processes

Build relationships with clients and pursue potential clients as guided by the commercialization strategy, locally and internationally

Responsible to appoint and manage commercialization agency and suppliers

Identify and define the immediate, short- and long-term objectives/plans associated with the alignment of people and business strategies providing input to the strategic framework within which the department functions
