Description
Microbiology or Clinical Pathology qualification. Registration with HPCSA. 2 years laboratory experience in Microbiology or Clinical Pathology Laboratory. Knowledge of SANAS, GCP, GCLP standards, LDMS and LIS Biorepository system. Microbiology or Clinical Pathology certified. Registration with HPCSA. Receiving, sorting. Receiving, sorting, storing and retrieval of samples. Receiving, sorting, storing and retrieval of samples. Data Capturing and working with different reports. Maintain records of laboratory processes and equipment. Monitor equipment maintenance logs and assist with stock inventory control. Adherence to infection control measures which includes ensuring the correct disposal of bio-hazardous waste (including autoclaving). Assist in SOP development, writing and implementation.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
