About client:


Our client based in Durban KZN, is a digital media agency that specializes in digital publishing, communications, graphic design and web development.

We have been in business for 5 years, since February 2017. They currently have a Fashion Client, Petrol Garage and a Travel Agency in their portfolios


Job Description:


  • Curate a digital content plan and Calendar for clients
    :Blog posts
  • Create content and digital campaigns (Liaise with models, makeup and studios)
    :Advertorials
  • Write short and long form copy for internal brand marketing and external brand content, Write persuasive copy for various brands
    :Web Copy, Product Copy, Brochures and Pamphlets
  • Ensure all digital copy adheres to all journalistic rules, regulations and guidelines free of copyright infringement and plagiarism
    :Industry Code of Conduct and Guidelines
  • Coordinate with colleagues to guarantee the workflow, documentation, and design standards are being upheld
    Copy Editing.
  • Prepare accurate status reports with help from team
    :Gather Analytics, for: Website Reach, Blogs Reach and campaigns
  • Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner

Together with the team

  • Ensure all content is on brand and meets client's and or brands requirements
    :Quality Content Production
  • Liaise with graphic designers for graphics to accompany your copy on the web, and Social Media Manager for Social Mentions and posting
    :Visual
    Content Editing

Requirements:


  • Marketing/Copywriting/Media graduate looking for internship and or experience (Must be or have studied Media/Copywriting/Marketing. This is suitable for a fresh graduate who needs experience in the digital industry)
  • Hold a minimum Qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Media/Journalism/PR/Digital Marketing
  • Basic Graphic Design skills on CANVA advantageous
  • Copywriting knowledge of the different writing styles
  • Fast reliable Internet connection most work will be done online and virtually
  • Reliable computer and or laptop
  • A creative being and a self starter
  • Fun to work with and with a gogetter attitude
  • Available to work online for at least 5 hours a day/5 days a week and available for production meetings on demand and meeting on Wednesdays.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and produce quality work under pressure
  • Good communications skills
  • Knowledge of industry trends and always up to date
