Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Summary

A skilled Maintenance Technician is required to perform maintenance and repair tasks on industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a trade test in Millwright or Fitter and Turner, with at least 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

Determine work procedures by reading diagrams and schematic drawings.
Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment for irregularities and malfunctions.
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machineries.
Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.
Participate in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines.
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machineries.
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Support planned production volumes.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Trade test: Millwright or Fitter and Turner
Minimum of 4 years experience as a Maintenance Manager
Must have experience in a production environment
AutoCad is essential
Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical systems
Problem/fault finding skills in electro-mechanical systems
Read and understand electrical schematics
