    Drive Business Success with Pro-Select Consulting

    As a Learning and Development Specialist at our esteemed retail client, you will play a pivotal role in driving business objectives. Your key responsibility will be to design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Training Program Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging training programs for retail employees, including onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, leadership development, and more.
    • Needs Assessment: Conduct surveys, observations, and performance metrics to identify skill gaps and inform training needs.
    • Facilitation and Coaching: Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for store associates, managers, and support staff, providing coaching and mentorship to support their professional growth.
    • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with department heads to create customized learning solutions that align with business goals, staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements in retail learning and development.
    • Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements based on feedback and performance results.
    • Logistics and Management: Manage training logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and learning management systems (LMS).

    Requirements:

    • Experience: 5+ years relevant experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, or Business Administration.
    • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Assessor Certification by ETDP (essential); Train the Trainer Certification; OPETDP Diploma and Registered SDF.
    • Skills: Microsoft Office efficiency and basic skills; ability to facilitate skills development; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
