Our Innovation & Business Transformation team is seeking growth minded and solutions focused people who are passionate about truly making a difference.

Based in South Africa, you will be working on high-profile engagements, with the brightest and best minds from across EY, finding innovative strategic solutions to some of the most complex and demanding problems.

You will be part of a high performing team committed to helping our biggest clients, and the teams who serve them, to define, design and deliver major transformation opportunities in their business.

This team leads the way in conversations with the clients and the account teams who support them, leading EY's approach to the market.

The role description:

As a senior consultant in our Innovation & Business Transformation team you will work across Business-, Strategy
- and Technology Consulting teams to deliver client engagements.

Your primary focus will be to leverage your technical skills in reinventing businesses, products and services to deliver engagements at our leading clients.

You will get the opportunity to work with executive teams to design, define and establish large scale agile transformation programs that drive growth and deliver long term value.

You will often design new processes, operating models, ways of working, developing value propositions and designing customer experiences.

You may also be required to perform market research on a variety of topics, participate and prepare for design workshops and develop slides as part of documented deliverables.

You will work closely with a team of high performing engagement managers and leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Design, reinvent and innovate business models that will create long term value and disrupt markets.
Design and build operating models.
Design, establish and operate innovation programs, including agile or lean approaches to developing new innovations in products, service, experiences or business models.
Analyse data and provide recommendations to client executives on strategic initiatives and transformations.
Perform market research activities to understand trends, competitor landscape and other external factors that could influence designs of new businesses, products, services and experiences.
Build client relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate across EY service lines to increase value for our clients, contributing to building a better working world.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Leadership capabilities that accept responsibility, work in high performing teams, gains support and commitment from others, provides feedback openly and learns from and accepts feedback from others whilst admitting mistakes in order to learn.
Knowledge of leading innovation, transformation and strategy frameworks or methods with practical experience in having developed or implemented projects using these frameworks.
Experience in strategy, innovation or transformation consulting.
