Description

Responsibilities:

Provide support to researchers and project staff, as needed. Manage, and maintain equipment/sites and facilities, ensure supplies. Coordinate and oversee transportation of equipment and personnel to various locations. Ensure that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Facilitate setup and dismantling of equipment and facilities. Ensure good relationship with the community, suppliers, stakehoder, authorities and anyone

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics, maintenance, or a related field.
Can organise practicalities for conferences, field research, health research, communitybased projects, school projects, largegroup travelling
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong team player
Strong time management skills.
Willingness to work in all kinds of contexts worldwide, including remote/ dirty/ foreign areas
Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team and experience in multicultural communication
Flexible and able to manage stress, long hours and highintensity work.
Selfdriven with a solutionorientated approach
Able to train others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Versatile professional experience (e.g. procurement, import/export, transport/freight, stock management, setting up buildings, water and sanitation, organise accommodation for field teams)
IT skills (Excel, Word, Internet, Zoom, etc.)
Fluent in English, can communicatein in isiZulu or another language (please specify)
Available for a minimum of 1 year
