    Cluster Pharmacist Assistant (Special Meds)

    Position Summary

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cluster Pharmacist Assistant (Special Meds) in Order Processing.

    The primary purpose of the job is to provide proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations, while also attending training on pharmacy acts and GPP, and ensuring compliance with POPI Act regulations.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate capturing of prescriptions, acute and/or chronic medication, handling of rejections as per SOP, and resolving Rejections and prioritizing adding scripts to WIP.

    Other key responsibilities include attending to cluster and personal action diaries, compliance to SLA requirements, responding to email messages or enquiries from management, SPN's or members, and ensuring correct reporting to external service providers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a courier or retail pharmacy, prior experience with Diabetes management, diabetic CGM appliances, and be registered at SAPC. They will also require training on company systems, including Medipost APP, online authorization system and procedures, ESS, etc.
