JOB TITLE:

PHLEBOTOMIST

POSITION TYPE:
Full Time

*TIME CONDITIONS: Discussed During Interview (5 Positions Available)
*Call and shift work involved in some cases.

Purpose of Position:

To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legalethical framework of the nursing profession.

Requirements:

Certificate in phlebotomy techniques
Registered with the HPCSA as a Medical technician in the category of Phlebotomy
12 years phlebotomy experience within a laboratory environment.
Knowledge of the National Health Act
Communication Skills
Numerical Reasoning skills
Must Have a Valid Drivers Licence (Code EB (08))

Advantageous:

Level 1 first aid training
Knowledge of computer systems
Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Computer Skills

Key Responsibilities:

Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information.
Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered.
Perform nursing / phlebotomy procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services.
Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld.
Maintain good client relations promote the image of FlowPath
