Chemcape is seeking an industrial water treatment Mechanical Service Technician that is persuasive, highly motivated, aggressive, and hard working. The individual we seek is an experienced water treatment professional with a history of success.


Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, good math and analytical abilities combined with stellar planning, organisational and time management skills.

Skills

• Plumbing Experience 2 years
• Red Seal or PIRB Certificate required
• Electrical Experience 2 years
• N3 Electrical certification preferred
• Panel assembly and wiring skills
• Code B driver's license
• Assemble inhouse water treatment control panels
• Electrical wiring of pumps, timers, relays etc.
• Planning, costing and conducting onsite equipment installations
• Assisting with the upkeep of Water Treatment Sites
• Trouble shooting and breakdown repairs
• Inhouse assembly of standard stock items, such as Boiler and Cooling TDS Control Manifolds
• Planning and coordinating of installations on various sites
• Conducting site visits in order to determine job requirements and costing
• Managing of all 3rd party contractors onsite
• Managing of orders & deliveries required for onsite installations
• Stock management of all relevant equipment stock items, and installation consumables.
• Routine servicing of specified water treatment accounts
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
• Build work including PVC, HDPE & plumbing pipework & fittings
• Commissioning of water treatment installations.

Salary:
Up to R35,000.00 per month
