    The Food and Beverage Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and executing food and beverage orders, ensuring seamless service delivery to customers. Key responsibilities include processing customer complaints patiently, planning alternative recipes for customers with special dietary needs, checking food and beverage supplies, tracking shipments, and communicating effectively with vendors.

    To succeed in this role, you must adhere to food, health, and safety standards, demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivate and develop staff members, provide exceptional customer service, and possess financial management skills. The ideal candidate will have a Hospitality Management qualification and experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and execute food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
    • Process customer complaints efficiently, addressing concerns promptly and fairly.
    • Create alternative recipes for customers with dietary restrictions, showcasing culinary expertise.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock management.
    • Track shipments, ensuring timely receipt of goods and materials.
    • Foster strong relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms that benefit both parties.
    • Maintain high standards of food, health, and safety, adhering to local regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Hospitality Management qualification preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

    Estimated Salary: R350,000 - R450,000 per annum
