Description

Duties/PligteRecruiting, counselling and following up on participants for clinical studies under the supervision of the study coordinator; Reporting to the project coordinator for delegated duties; Ensuring the smooth running of and complete sample and data collection from participants supervised by the study coordinator; Performing other study-related duties as required.

Job Requirements/Pos VereistesAt least basic nursing training (or the equivalent qualification for a nursing assistant); Fluent in both isiXhosa and English; Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills; The ability to work in a dynamic setting, to prioritise large volumes of work, and to meet deadlines efficiently.

Recommendation/AanbevelingKnowledge of the principles of research ethics and design would be advantageous; Clinical research experience and GCP certification would be advantageous.
