Tally Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tally Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have preferably worked in a cold storage facility, managing the efficient loading and off-loading of trucks, capturing product receipt data, checking products for damage, and performing stock counts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to the timely and efficient loading and off-loading of trucks

• Capturing of all products received onto the warehouse management system

• Checking of all products before applying labels and processing receipt documents

• Performing stock counts as and when required

• Checking and reporting on damages to stock, equipment, or trucks during the off-loading or loading process

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess excellent numerical skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to work long hours under pressure in sub-zero temperatures. A reliable vehicle is also essential.

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, depending on experience
