    Job Description:

    • Manage the Groups and Events Team: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring seamless event execution.
    • Business Development: Quote and contract business through all available channels, driving revenue growth.
    • Long-Range Planning: Participate in strategic meetings to plan and execute upcoming events.
    • Event Coordination: Ensure accurate details are recorded and communicated to relevant parties.
    • In-House Inspections: Conduct site inspections to drive profitable bookings.

    Requirements:

    • Educational Background: Diploma or degree from a reputable hotel school (preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Groups/Events/Conferencing/Sales within a luxury environment (preferred), with previous management experience essential.
    • Reporting and Forecasting: Ability to create accurate reports and forecasts.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
