    Travel Specialist Opportunity

    We are seeking a skilled Travel Specialist to join our team. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel industry.

    Duties:

    • Craft unique and bespoke itineraries for guests, showcasing creativity and flair.
    • Manage the booking process from quote to finalisation, ensuring seamless transactions and accurate invoicing.
    • Maintain excellent communication with agents, sales teams, suppliers, and colleagues, fostering strong relationships.
    • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and emergency shifts on a rotational basis.
    • Proactively promote products and services, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of the travel industry, including channels and markets.
    • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, WETU, Tourplan, and ESS.
    • Familiarity with South Africa, Southern, and East Africa, as well as product knowledge and terms and conditions.
    • Calm and professional manner when interacting with agents and guests.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and experiential creativity.
    • Relevant business acumen to develop strategies and make informed decisions.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Sales growth and revenue targets.
    • Guest satisfaction and retention rates.
    • Efficiency in processing bookings and resolving issues.

    Salary Range: R500,000 - R700,000 per annum.
