The incumbent's responsibilities will include:
Perform overall Administrative requirements for the jobs fund project to support the project manager
Design and implement a project plan to maintain administrative requirements throughout the project (i.e. from recruitment to reporting phase)
Set up and maintain an effective and efficient electronic filing system, as required by the project
Build and maintain relationships with participant SMME's as part of the project
Assist the Project Manager with all logístical preparations for workshops and/or other events required by the project
Ensure the preparation, collection, collation and uploading of business supporting documents (evidence) for reporting purposes
Assist with any webinars and uploading of SMME's to electronic web platform for Project purposes
Updating and populating project databases, as required
Be aware of the project's financial administration processes
The incumber will require the following:
A diploma in business administration, secretarial, office management or project management
At least 2-3 years relevant working experience as a project coordinator in a similar field will be advantageous, as will a keen interest in SMME development and/or the craft and design sector
To be able to set and meet deadlines, work in high-pressure environments and pay attention to detail and be able to embrace IT solutions and be proficient in MS Office suite specifically including Excel
