    About Endpoint Security Services Our key focus is to improve the security posture while enabling business.
    Key Purpose
  • The Endpoint Data Loss Prevention Analyst will be employed to perform Endpoint Data Loss Prevention realted tasks and will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring data loss prevention strategies and solutions across endpoint devices within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of data protection, cybersecurity threats, endpoint security technologies, and regulatory compliance standards.
    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain data loss prevention policies and procedures for endpoint security.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, particularly those related to data loss and endpoint security.
  • Implementation and Management: Configure and manage endpoint data loss prevention (DLP) tools and systems.
  • Integrate DLP solutions with other security systems like SIEM, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitoring and Response: Continuously monitor endpoints for potential data loss incidents and breaches.
  • Investigate and respond to alerts regarding suspicious activities or policy violations related to data loss.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Generate regular reports on endpoint security status and incidents for management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.
  • Architectural design and new technology implementations.
  • Capable in supporting a 24/7 coverage model with standby responsibilities.
  • Optimize employee satisfaction through a strong commitment to communications and customer service.
  • Document configurations and procedures that will be transitioned to the help desk or support teams.
  • Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change, incident, and problem activities for tracking purposes.
  • Review Daily reports from hygiene tooling and remediate where required.
  • Manage Incidents or Requests logged in the Call logging tool.
  • Perform daily operational and health checks on hygiene tooling.
  • Windows and MacOS knowledge.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data loss prevention, endpoint security, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., POPI, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with various endpoint DLP solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and countermeasures.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience with Windows Workstations, Software installation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong reporting capabilities.
  • Strong Excel skills.

Working Conditions:

Office-based role with options for remote work as per company policy.
Must be willing to participate in after-hours support and incident response as needed.
