- Maintain system to support controlled product release.
- Incoming acceptance documentation preparation.
- Sampling Inspection, Inspection Data, Data base integrity and standardised protocols.
- Dimensional & Optical Measurements.
- Production and development support for tooling, measurement equipment, fixtures and Gauging.
- Release of products, capturing of inspection reports on QMS & ERP and maintenance of build history.
- Follow-up with procurement & other role players on incomplete & non-conforming materials. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) Mechanical Engineering, Metrology or relevant equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
- 1 - 3 year's experience in a mechanical inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability in the interpretation of engineering drawing requirements would further chances of selection.
- Exposure in the application of measurement practices would be preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Availability to work Overtime or shift to support operational requirements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORThe main purpose of the J unior Quality Inspector is to conduct Inspections of component parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with RDM base line drawings and associated documentation so as to ensure compliance of the item being assessed. Maintain structured release protocols so as to ensure accurate inputs to the Business System and component acceptance & build histories.
