    Description

    Purpose of the Role:

    The overall purpose of this position is to manage several Operations Managers in covering key areas, including client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expenses control, investigations and ensuring site security requirements are met.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and clients
    • Ensure contractual requirements are met by managing allocated areas and security officers
    • Constantly evaluate service levels and make recommendations for improvement
    • Manage and supervise security staff to ensure required performance
    • Liaise with management on operational issues
    • Deal with administration matters, HR queries, and disciplinary actions
    • Submit reports and investigate incidents

    Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
    • PSIRA Grade A registration
    • Valid driver's license with own reliable transport
    • At least 10 years' experience in the security industry
    • 5 years' experience in Operational Security Management
    • Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and competency
    • Computer literacy with expert knowledge of Microsoft package
    • No criminal record or pending cases
    • Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills
