As a minimum a diploma in Health and Safety management

Relevant competencies:

HIRA
Incident investigation / RCAT

Legal Liability

5+ years as a HSE Manager

Ability to communicate effectively with staff.

Ability to give and follow up on instructions given to staff.

Demonstrate proactive thinking skills and ability to make decisions.

Ability to proactively manage and monitor processes and monitor them with procedures on site.

Prioritize, follow up and measure

Good Leadership Skills.

Supervisory role, must be able to man of age / supervise a team

Comprehensive understanding of the following:
Occupational health and safety Act No. 1993 and Regulations in particular Major Hazard installations regulations and Regulations for hazardous chemical agents

Chapter VIII of the regulations:
Transportation of dangerous goods and substances by road

Hazardous Chemical Agents Regulations, 2021

SANS The identification and classification of dangerous goods for transport by road and rail

SANS Packaging of dangerous goods for road and rail transportation in SA

SANS Transportation of dangerous goods - Inspection requirements for road vehicles

SANS Transportation of dangerous goods - Operational requirements for road Vehicles

SANS Transportation of dangerous goods - Emergency information systems, Part 1: Emergency information system for road transportation

Salary:
R60, R70,000.00 per month
