    Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead

    At Carlysle Human Capital, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead to oversee the development and enforcement of quality assurance policies specific to financial operations, including IFRS 17 compliance.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Policies: Create and enforce policies to ensure high-quality financial operations, including IFRS 17 compliance.
    • Manage IFRS 17 Implementation: Lead the transition to IFRS 17, collaborating with finance and actuarial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with industry regulations, working closely with compliance teams to maintain standards.
    • Drive Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
    • Lead and Develop Teams: Manage a team of Accountants, providing mentorship and training on financial procedures and compliance standards.
    • Prepare Reporting and Documentation: Deliver detailed reports and maintain comprehensive audit trails for senior management.
    • Collaborate Across Departments: Work with underwriting, claims, and other departments to foster a culture of quality and compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification
    • Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in an audit environment as an Assistant Manager or similar role, preferably within the short-term insurance industry.
    • Strong Knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency Management Assessment Framework
    • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making Skills
    • Leadership Capabilities with Experience in Team Management
    • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
