    Job Title: Engineering Professional

    Summary:

    An experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering is required to provide operational services to the Mine Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of metallurgical ore processing, project management, and environmental legislation.

    Job Description:

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide operational service to the Mine Manager, ensuring legal compliance and maintenance to standards.
    • Ensure the operational movement of men, material, and ore, as well as construction to standard.
    • Offer technical advice to the projects department, including maintenance and operation of assets and logistical requirements.
    • Maintain site-specific standards, interpret legal standards, determine work priorities, and call out specialist expertise when problems occur.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.Eng)
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Government Certificate of Competency
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Familiarity with ISO systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Metallurgical ore processing experience
    • Proven project experience
    • Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements
