TASK DESCRIPTION

_New product development & renovation, product demand _

  • Work with the Digital Brand Manager to develop insights to proposition for new products as well as key growth products and product categories.
  • In collaboration with marketing team, develop launch & stimulus campaigns to increase awareness, consideration and trial with consumers.
  • Work with KAMs to develop launch and promotional forecast numbers, development and tracking of KPIs.
  • Develop and manage sellin activity requirements (listing, ship to trade, pipeline fill timeline, distribution)
  • Translating product proposition, category positioning together with launch/ promotional strategy into trade stories.
  • Post launch review and tracking of all product introductions and range performance, channel adoption, and impact on market share.
  • Development of channel POS requirements for promotions or throughtheline campaigns.

_Project management_

  • Development, management and ownership of project timelines, work breakdown structure, communication on risk to critical path and on time delivery of project.
  • Manage internal stakeholders, agencies and manufacturer relationships.
  • Regulatory requirements in relation to product registration and label information.
  • Work with the Digital Brand Manager on label design requirements, approval and production.

_Data and IP Management:
_


  • Manage central data point for all product, legal and technical information and documentation.
  • Development and management of product catalogues and trade requirements.
  • Responsible for building strong relationships with global licensed brands, ensure product information and promotional information is kept up to date

_Portfolio Maintenance:
_


  • Ongoing category and competitor analysis, P&L performance review and RSP to ensure mutual trade benefit between Company and trade customers.
  • Channel review, ranging and price strategy development. Price pack architecture investigation on aging or poor performing products.
  • Portfolio mapping, price ladders and consumer architype product mapping to identify portfolio gaps as input into developing future innovation pipeline products.
  • Development and owner of product data load forms and label template. Work closely with service providers to maintain product data, labels, meta data and internal product master.
  • Ranging across all eCommerce platforms and support to Digital Brand Manager in portfolio performance management, volume optimising strategies and promotional plans.
  • Responsible for product maintenance of central image data bank and assist Digital Brand Manager in maintenance of products across eCommerce and digital platforms to ensure consistent and best in class product representation.
  • Identify declining products for potential discontinuation:
  • Product performance and discontinuation recommendations
  • Remedial options like renovation, price competitiveness and substitution options
  • Business case development on discontinuation impact as key input into decision making
  • Develop and manage discontinuation run down plan to ensure mínimal cost and reputation risk to the company
  • Development of packaging architecture, clear product brands and packaging guidelines
  • Perform other adhoc duties as and when required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration is essential
  • 35 years' experience in a similar role at a retail environment
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Creative thinker, energized by improving team effectiveness and business performance
  • Analytical, lover of data and all things digital.
  • Knowledge and expertise in platforms and tools like Power BI, IRI, market reports and ability to integrate various data sources into insights for the business
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights to various stakeholders
  • Accountability and ability to lean and influence without direct authority
  • Proactive problem solver and excellent project manager

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
