    Corporate Portfolio Manager

    We are seeking a Corporate Portfolio Manager with commercial insurance experience to join our team.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Sell and promote the company's products and services to short-term insurance corporate broker partners in Pretoria, achieving growth through set monthly targets and conversion rates.
    • Develop and maintain consistent organic growth within this portfolio, identifying and unlocking new business opportunities, including books of transfers.
    • Serve as the main liaison between internal operational staff and brokers, assisting with internal problems and complaints resolution.
    • Build supportive relationships with brokers, assisting them in running profitable loss ratios and ensuring efficient service delivery.
    • Measure performance against sales targets, conversion ratios, overall portfolio performance, new business loss ratios, and professional partnerships.
    • National travel required; valid driver's license essential.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance (NQF Level 5 or higher)
    • Advanced Certificate in Short Term Insurance (NQF 6) advantageous
    • RE 5 Representative Exam passed
    • FSCA Register listing
    • Commercial insurance experience (minimum 5 years)
    • Short-Term Insurance Sales experience (minimum 5 years)
    • Corporate broking environment knowledge and current market trends

    About the Role:

    This role requires a strong understanding of the corporate broking environment, current market trends, and competitor product offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining consistent organic growth within this portfolio and identifying new business opportunities.
