To provide a customer service within the eThekwini Municipality area of responsibility by ensuring that the meter reading, revenue collection and technical functions are managed to ensure that nontechnical losses on the distribution network are kept to a minimum as well as financial viability of the organization.

To provide a technical advice service to the eThekwini Electricity existing and new customers as well as to the electrical contracting industry/consultants.

Act as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the various sections of eThekwini Electricity to ensure that the process for connections of supplies is not delayed and problems pertaining are resolved.
