The role is responsible for the Legal Manager to oversee the legal aspects of the business. The Legal Manager will safeguard the companys reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues.

  • A law degree is compulsory
  • Must have at least five years experience and have demonstrable experience as per roles and responsibilities
  • Strong contract drafting skills
  • Property experience (advantage)
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with township establishment on vacant/agricultural land (advantage)
  • Knowledge and/or experience working on agreements relating to data centers (advantage)

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial contracts which may include:
  • Loan agreements
  • Shareholders agreements
  • Sale of shares and shares repurchase agreements
  • Property related Agreements, i.e., sale and acquisition of land, sale, and acquisition of letting enterprises, township services agreements etc
  • Drafting and maintaining relevant contract templates
  • Developing and managing contract management and administration
  • Keeping abreast of relevant legal and regulatory developments and facilitating sharing of knowledge and bestpractice within wider legal team
  • Research and advise Group Counsel and Human Resources Manager on Local Labour Law and provide support to Human Resources on employee claims
  • Providing day to day legal advice to stakeholders within Group
  • Supporting Group Counsel on projects and Due Diligence on acquisitions as needed
  • Strong understanding of legal requirements & procedures
