    Job Title: Market Risk Specialist

    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in counter-party credit and derivative pricing, you will play a key role in our organisation's risk management strategy.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Counter-party Credit Risk Analysis: Assess the creditworthiness of counter-parties and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the stability of our financial systems.
    • Derivative Pricing: Accurately price and value complex derivatives, maintaining a competitive portfolio while adhering to regulatory standards.
    • Risk Modeling: Develop and enhance risk models to quantify and forecast market risk, enabling informed decision-making regarding our financial strategies.
    • Portfolio Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of our financial portfolios to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for optimising risk-return profiles.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our risk management practices align with industry regulations and standards, participating in audits and compliance reporting.
    • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively convey risk assessments and insights.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in market risk management, focusing on counter-party credit and derivative pricing.
    • Proficiency in quantitative analysis.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management concepts.
    • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to market risks.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
