    We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our ICT department to support end-users in resolving problems. The responsibilities of an Application Support Engineer include responding to technical queries and issues, resolving problems in a timely manner, and providing administrative support.

    To be successful as an Application Support Engineer, you should be able to provide exceptional customer service and perform user administrative responsibilities efficiently. Ultimately, a good Application Support Engineer should be able to display excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independent

    What you will love doing in this role

  • Developing checklists for reoccurring problems.
  • Developing recommendations for procedures to prevent problems.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to educate users on system functionalities and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Performing user administrative tasks.
  • First line after hours support
  • Provide first-line technical support for Microsoft Dynamics AX users
  • Manage incident tickets, prioritize tasks based on severity and impact, and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution timelines.
  • Requirements

    What you'll need to do this role

  • Relevant qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration.
  • Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Ability to learn and master employer-specific software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Complex problem solving.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose & address application issues across the business.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
