    Description

    Our client in the Dairy Farming Industry requires a Bookkeeper in Queenstown.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Bookkeeping up to trial balance using Xero
    • Reconcile bank entries and petty cash
    • Monthly reconciliations and reporting
    • General administration
    • Preparation of Payroll reconciliations
    • Review company bank entries
    • Review invoices relating to business transactions
    • Reconcile Payroll entries
    • Review creditors, customers and bank recons
    • Prepare VAT and PAYE calculations and returns
    • Gather information for VAT audits
    • Prepare supporting documents for audits
    • Prepare information relating to inter-company transactions and loans
    • Reconcile GL accounts to fixed asset registers

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Matric
    • 2 - 3 years experience in the financial sector
    • Financial qualification
    • Experience with Xero and Caseware
    • Office experience
    • Strong computer literacy
    • MS Office suite skills
