- Apply continuous improvement principles to inventory management policies and procedures aligned with the business requirements.
- Coordinate planning and execution of physical inventory and maintenance item counts (Cycle counts, Month end counts and year end counts)
- Accountable for variance investigations.
- Responsible Blocked stock and Quality stock management.
- Responsible for Safe disposal and rework of Block stock.
- Processing stock returns, daily.
- Claims investigation and resolution.
- Processing of Purchase Requisitions
- Measure and drive performance improvement in key operational and profitability metrics such as stock record accuracy (SRA) – Target 99% stock accuracy.
- Effective control of FIFO principles and practices (RM and FG)
- Audit inventory transactions – inbound and outbound.
- Assist with other inventory related tasks (i.e. blind checks) when required
- Audit inventory management process compliance.
- Monthly stock accuracy reporting in line with our KPI's
- Audit Warehouse/Production stock bookings.
- Conduct random audits on Return putaway placements: 100% accuracy
- Monitor and maintain all quality restricted stock to ensure that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.
- Ensure all quality restricted stock and Blocked stock is isolated on the floor and moved to restricted ware (Quality) in SAP.
- To create an efficient working environment through clear communication
- Report and escalate slow moving stock and ensure action (sell / scrap) is taken by relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support and guidance on the placement (location) of inventory to the Operations and Logistics team.
- Consult with Management teams regarding challenges or constraints.

Computer Literate
At 3 years' experience in stock controlle / Inventory management.
SAP knowledge
Good knowledge of Safe disposals.
Good knowledge of Returns process
Computer Literacy (specifically advanced MS Office: Excel)
Must have strong problem solving skills
Must have a hands-on approach to work.
Passion for inventory management and stock management processes
