    Project Engineer Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple projects within the Automotive Industry.

    Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Establish key customer contracts and agreements.
    2. Coordinate project timelines and monitor progress to ensure targets are met.
    3. Manage urgent customer requests and ensure compliance with current legislation.
    4. Ensure a thorough understanding of project scope, company obligations, and product specifications prior to commencement.
    5. Obtain customer and material process sign-offs.
    6. Identify, report, and manage project risks promptly.
    7. Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by the immediate Manager or Director.
    8. Conduct contract controlling activities, including budgeting, cost estimation, and schedule tracking.
    9. Participate in and contribute to monthly Technical/Operations Department meetings.

    Requirements:

    1. National Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
    2. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
    3. High computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
    4. Proven ability to work independently and proactively.
    5. Strong planning skills.
    6. Effective communication skills at all levels.
    7. Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
    8. Understanding of customer requirements and specifications.
    9. Experience in the Automotive Industry is advantageous.
