Responsibilities:
  • Regularly inspect incoming materials for quality.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements and tests on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and quality requirements.
  • Identify any defects or issues with finished products and collaborate with the production team to make necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate the rework of products when needed.
  • Separate nonconforming products and promptly report them to the production team.
  • Continuously monitor production processes on an hourly basis to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of quality inspections.
  • Possess proficiency in using measuring instruments such as surface profile testers, dry film thickness gauges, oven data loggers, verniers, and dinolite magnifiers.

Requirements:


  • Advanced Diploma, BTech or National Diploma in Production Management, Quality Assurance Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Familiarity with metalwork processes and/or coating systems.
  • Sound understanding of quality control and quality assurance principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, analytical and adaptable to a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • The position requires continental shift work consisting of 12 hour workdays on a 4 days on /4 days off cycle (after the initial training period of 4 weeks).
