Our client in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is seeking a CNC Lathe & Milling Machinist to join their Engineering company.


The Key Performance Areas of the position are:

  • Meet set Production targets.
  • Be able to interpret technical drawings.
  • Measure shell dimensions and reference them to drawing.
  • Assist in set up and initiate manufacturing processes.
  • Manufacturing and machining of all types of material to achieve complete and accurate parts within expected time frame.
  • Perform Deburr, clean and inspection as required.
  • Observe prescribed safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot machine related problems.
  • Detect and report faulty operations, defective material and any unusual or unsafe conditions.
  • Monitor and record production and quality data and recognise and respond to error conditions, malfunctions and faults.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Grade 12 with Mathematics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CNC Lathe and Milling machine operating and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Certificate in CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operation/Setting.
  • Must be able to do programming on GSK controller.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
