Healthcare Consultant Job Description

This role involves providing expert advice on health insurance plans and medical scheme options to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consulting
- Analyze client employee benefits, including medical schemes, retirement funds, group risk, and wellness programs.
- Quantify costs, risks, inefficiencies, duplications, gaps, and business opportunities.
- Conduct annual benefit and cost comparisons for clients.
- Create a value-based, integrated annual strategy for each client.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks, improve efficiencies, and leverage business opportunities.
- Presentation of reports and presentations that demonstrate the value delivered by the company.
Portfolio Management
- Execute strategies and services within allocated time frames.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turn Around Times (TATs).
- Monitor and communicate concerns regarding service delivery for flagged clients.
- Maintain relationships with HR/Payroll teams and executive management.
- Manage elevated service delivery complaints effectively.
Project Management
- Oversee special projects as allocated.
- Design project plans, delegate tasks, and provide progress reports to the team.
