**Compassionate and Motivated Financial Professional Wanted**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual with a financial background to join our team at the GP practice in the Northern Suburbs.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the medical environment, a strong commitment to delivering exceptional services, and a passion for contributing to excellence in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Account Services: Perform patient account services, including benefit checks, billing, cash and card payment allocations, medical aid follow-up and payment allocations, corrections, month-end procedures and reports, collection of cash and banking of cash, and assistance at reception when needed.
• Creditor Services: Contact service providers for services such as stock orders, equipment services, locum services, IT and program services. Check invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Financial Practices and Policies: Comply with practices, policies, and procedures related to financial administration and operational requirements.
• Support Services: Provide support in stock taking, alarm duty, patient enquiries, doctor enquiries, laundry services, and medical waste management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Financial experience within a medical environment
• Computer literacy
• Basic knowledge of financial functions, practices, and data capture
• Understanding of public service financial legislations, procedures, and Treasury regulations
• Knowledge of basic financial operating systems (e.g. Excel, Elive)
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans

Working Hours:

9 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour lunch breaks. Rotational Saturday shifts every 3rd weekend, starting at 08:00.

Remuneration:

An all-inclusive salary package of R18 500 per month.
