    Candidates need to be self-driven, responsible, and aware that each and every action is important for both being an asset to the Siemens Energy team as well as contributing to the company's successes.     The candidate will be applying for a role as a Senior Project Manager who will design, develop and manage customer projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for economic results.

    The candidate would be a person who has Project Managed large projects from start to completion including the required assurance of regulatory requirements, team management and strong customer intimacy.The target project for this application is a large project complex Control and Instrumentation project with an execution period of 5 to 6 years.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    The candidate will be required to perform recognized Project Management duties, for example -

    General

    ·Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager or project team leads.

    ·Clarifies customers ́ targets and requirements, and/or specification in request for proposal (RFP) within the bounds of contracting.

    ·Prepares participation in tender / project change orders and can lead in negotiation with customers.

    ·Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.

    oAble to lead a large team within the project

    ·Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with accountable internal peers and managers.

    ·Monitors milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.

    ·Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.

    ·May coordinate agreed commissioning measures onsite, together with the project team leads.

    ·Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines ( Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS, Quality).

    ·Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff.

    Project Specific, be responsible for

    ·The overall project result according to the agreed order entry calculation including any contract amendments, and the targets as agreed with Business Management.

    ·Achievement of all the relevant project objectives.

    ·Compliance to given Siemens Energy corporate guidelines.

    ·Meeting the planned deadlines.

    ·Utilisation of all possible measures to minimise costs and optimise profit margins.

    ·Prevention and mitigation of additional costs.

    ·Active and consequent Claims Management.

    ·Ensuring compliance with all the applicable Acts, Regulations and Standards including SHQE.

    ·Implementation and supervision of all activities necessary to execute the Project.

    ·Fulfilling all the Contractual Conditions of the contract.

    ·Obtaining the required customer acceptances and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    ·Strong partnership with project commercial partner.

    ·Review and preparation of monthly status and reporting.

    What You Bring

    ·A tertiary qualification ideally showing a strong technical background.

    ·At least 5-10 years Project Management and Contract Management experience in large projects, typically projects more than 20-30 million Euro.

    ·Prior experience in control and instrumentation type projects and ideally in the power plant industry.

    ·Ideally a qualification as a Project Manager or a proven track record.

    ·SACPMP registration.

    ·Ideally strong contractual experience in at least NEC type projects.

    Gas Services
