    Description

    Job Title: Treasury and Capital Management Specialist

    Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

    We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury and Capital Management specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an integrated suite of Treasury and Capital Management models.

    This role requires a deep understanding of Treasury and Capital Management principles, including capital, liquidity, stress testing, funds transfer pricing, and interest rate risk in the Banking book. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Liquidity Risk and Balance Sheet management within a Bank, as well as expertise in working with unstructured data, data mining, and data visualization tools.

    The successful candidate will also have proven development experience in software and software engineering, with up-to-date knowledge of developments in the IA field. Experience in technical business intelligence, project management, and IT infrastructure is also essential.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design, develop, and maintain Treasury and Capital Management models adhering to best practice and the minimum standards set in the Group Model Risk Framework.
    2. Provide specialist expertise in the development of models covering all areas of TCM including capital, liquidity, stress testing, funds transfer pricing, and interest rate risk in the Banking book.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

    Requirements:

    • Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting, Information Studies, Information Technology, Mathematical Sciences, or Quantitative Studies.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Treasury Capital Management, Liquidity Risk and Balance Sheet management within a Bank, and ALM, IRRBB, Capital forecasting process management.
    • Experience working with unstructured data (e.g., Streams, images), data mining, and data visualization tools.
    • Proven development experience in software and software engineering, with up-to-date knowledge of developments in the IA field.

    Salary: R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum
