    About The Role

    Panda Waste Services is a customer-centric, forward-thinking waste and recycling solutions provider with numerous depots located throughout Ireland.

    Our award-winning business is seeking a talented, hardworking, and ambitious Telesales Executive to help us grow our business.

    The Role

    This role involves predominantly new business requiring cold calling, direct sales, and appointment setting. There will also be elements of lead generation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Cold Calling; Presenting Panda in a professional capacity, selling unique features and benefits of our services to businesses.
    2. Upselling waste and recycling solutions to existing customers.
    3. Completing client site risk assessments and site audits.
    4. Handling all inbound enquiries assigned to you.
    5. Pre-qualifying opportunities to ensure they meet the company's 'business fit' criteria and pass credit checks.
    6. Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities.
    7. Collating accurate prospect information and updating the CRM daily with the sales support team.
    8. Completing weekly KPI Sheets.
    9. Attending and participating in fortnightly/monthly sales meetings.
    10. Booking appointments with key management personnel at target organisations to present the company's proposition.
    11. Cross-selling additional Panda services, including shredding, hazardous waste, and national services.
    12. Assisting the Administration and Service Teams with implementing new services.
    13. Any other duties reasonably requested by your Line Manager.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Educated to GCSE Level in English and Maths.

    Desirable:

    • Externally recognised Sales Training.
    • A competitive, non-work related award (e.g., sports club).
    • NVQ in Sales/Business Management.
    • Trained to degree level.

    Experience

    Essential:

    • 12 months continuous employment in a sales role.
    • Selling service contracts.
    • Telemarketing/appointment booking.
    • Door-to-door canvassing.

    Desirable:

    • Work experience within the waste industry.
    • Experience using CRM.
    • Implementing new services for customers.

    Skills

    Essential:

    • Experienced Outlook user.
    • Capable user of MS Word and Excel.
    • Negotiation.
    • Good problem solver.
    • Articulate.
    • Excellent listener.

    Desirable:

    • Confident and capable Presenter.
    • Proficient use of CRM.

    Knowledge

    Essential:
