    Description

    Process Engineer Role

    As a Process Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in the expansion project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Development: Develop and design processes for the expansion project, including flow sheets, mass and energy balances, and process simulations to optimize performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process designs into the overall project plan.
    • Process Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and technological upgrades to enhance plant performance.
    • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate process performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend adjustments as needed.
    • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases to resolve process-related issues and challenges.
    • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for process failures or inefficiencies.
    • Corrective Actions: Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
    • Project Planning and Management: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for process engineering activities.
    • Team Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment and integration of process engineering work with overall project objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Education: National Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: At least 8 years of experience within mining, specifically mineral processing industry.
