    Description

    Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the reconciliation of all accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Maintain and optimize financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, and internal controls for effective financial management.
    • Produce accurate and complete monthly management accounts, adhering to strict reporting deadlines.
    • Manage financial accounting processes, including the preparation of accurate monthly statutory returns.
    • Ensure the reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts and the alignment of sub-modules to the trial balance.
    • Maintain and review the company's asset registers, ensuring accuracy and performing annual reviews.
    • Oversee efficient year-end processes, including timely submission of financial year-end reports and facilitating external audits.
    • Lead the full budgeting process and provide regular operational expenditure reports.
    • Manage and reconcile all bank accounts, ensuring proper processing, payment approvals, and timely releases.
    • Handle internal billing processes and group reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and eliminating errors.
    • Oversee property-related accounting functions and maintain accurate records.
    • Analyze financial data, including actual results and forecasts, to identify trends and provide insights to management.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain the security of financial information in collaboration with the IT department.
    • Prepare financial reports and provide actionable insights to management.
    • Guide and mentor financial clerical staff to ensure high performance and development.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (BCom required).
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in a financial accounting role.
    • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial systems, reporting, and controls.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting tools.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
